We collect canned goods and non-perishable food items at every meeting.  These are donated to local food banks including the one at St. Mark's Methodist Church.

Our guild has created many quilts to donate to various homes and hospitals. Donated over 175 quilts to Various Nursing Homes, Hospitals and Ronald McDonald house in Galveston over the past 3 years.  We have also had members donate crocheted afghans, kits for creating quilts and unfinished blocks.  We are always looking for fabric donations to create more quilts, unfinished quilts and volunteers for sewing and quilting.

Pop-Tabs Program
Anyone and everyone can collect aluminum pop tabs from canned beverages. They are recycled in exchange for money which is donated to the Ronald McDonald House of Galveston to help provide for our families. Have fun with collecting pop tabs and know that in doing so you are making a very big difference for the families who stay at the House.

We will have a shower for the house in August.  Below is a link of items that are needed at the house. http://www.rmhg.org/wishlists.html

Located in Baytown, Texas, the center serves east Harris, Chambers and Liberty Counties.

The Baytown Area Quilt Guild donated $500.00 to furnish a counseling room for the center in 2013.  We donated $1000.00 to purchase a laptop, printer and other items in 2014.

We are having a shower for the center at our April meeting.  People can donate office supplies, baby clothing, baby quilts and receiving blankets, baby supplies (lotions, shampoo, oil, etc).

Below are pictures of some of our 2015 donations.
